Verdict

Yes — this 4-card loop draws the entire library by converting a single Treasure into an endless Construct-and-clamp chain.

Liquimetal Coating turns Jan Jansen, Chaos Crafter into an artifact so it can sacrifice itself into its own ability loop; Dross Scorpion untaps Jan Jansen each time a creature dies, resetting the engine without spending additional mana. The combo slots into Mardu artifact shells — Breya, Etherium Shaper is the obvious commander, but Jan Jansen as commander runs every piece in the command zone except Skullclamp, which any artifact tutor finds.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You control an additional creature.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Liquimetal Coating by tapping it, causing Jan Jansen to become an artifact creature until end of turn.
  2. Activate Jan Jansen's first ability by tapping it and sacrificing another artifact creature.
  3. When the creature dies, Dross Scorpion triggers, untapping Jan Jansen.
  4. Resolve the Jan Jansen ability, creating two Treasure artifact tokens.
  5. Activate Jan Jansen's second ability by tapping it and sacrificing a Treasure token, creating two 1/1 Construct artifact creature tokens.
  6. Activate a Treasure token by tapping and sacrificing it, adding {1}.
  7. Activate Skullclamp's equip ability by paying {1}, attaching it to a Construct token.
  8. The Construct dies as a state-based action due to having zero toughness.Skullclamp and Dross Scorpion trigger.
  9. Resolve the Skullclamp trigger, causing you to draw two cards.
  10. Resolve the Dross Scorpion trigger, untapping Jan Jansen.
  11. Repeat from step 2.

03

Result

Infinite card draw; Infinite draw triggers; Near-infinite death triggers; Near-infinite ETB; Near-infinite LTB

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Liquimetal Torque replaces Liquimetal Coating as a mana-rock that does the same job and doubles as early ramp. If Skullclamp is the removal target, any sac outlet that converts draws — Phyrexian Arena won't do, but Erebos, God of the Dead or a free discard outlet paired with Underworld Breach can close — the loop produces enough death triggers and mana to find a substitute kill.
