The combo needs all four pieces, which makes it fragile to exile effects on any single card — Displacer Kitten blinking at instant speed means a well-timed removal spell on The One Ring mid-loop collapses the whole thing. Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal is a cleaner infinite-mana engine in blue if you have enough nonland mana sources to net three mana on a single untap — but that's a different combo with its own setup requirements, not a drop-in replacement. If sticking with this line, Tinker and Reshape fetch the artifacts fast enough to make assembly consistent.
