Variations
Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines
Doubling Season substitutes for Primal Vigor if granting opponents the counter-doubling is too costly — the math is identical. Without Primal Vigor or Doubling Season the loop collapses because Cryptic Trilobite only gets two +1/+1 counters from the proliferate and cannot fund two ability activations. The infinite proliferate closes the game with any planeswalker sitting at one activation away from an ultimate, or pair it with Walking Ballista for a cleaner kill.
