Parallel Lives doubles Myr Propagator's activation from one token to two, letting one copy replace the tapped original after Ashnod's Altar cashes both sacrificed Myrs for four colorless — netting one mana per loop. Lightning Greaves equips at zero cost to give the freshly entered Propagator haste, bypassing the summoning sickness that would otherwise stall the chain cold. Green artifact-synergy shells like Meren of Clan Nel Toth or Lathril, Blade of the Elves won't run this, but Atraxa, Praetors' Voice or any commander that tutors artifacts and enchantments can assemble it.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

02

Steps

  1. Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying {0}, attaching it to Myr Propagator.
  2. Activate Myr Propagator by paying {3} and tapping it, creating two token copies of itself.
  3. Activate Ashnod's Altar twice by sacrificing the tapped Myr Propagator and a Myr Propagator token, adding {C}{C}{C}{C}.
  4. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite colorless mana; Infinite creature tokens; Infinite death triggers; Infinite ETB; Infinite LTB; Infinite sacrifice triggers

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Anointed Procession replaces Parallel Lives at the same doubling effect if the enchantment suite is already strained. The loop produces infinite colorless, not green, so the kill needs a sink — Walking Ballista, Altar of the Brood, or Goblin Bombardment closes the game; the engine itself does nothing without one.
