Ashnod the Uncaring is the engine: when Whisper, Blood Liturgist activates, Ashnod copies the ability and targets Whisper itself, so both copies resolve and Whisper comes back alongside a second graveyard creature. Lightning Greaves grants shroud on Whisper immediately so removal can't strand the loop mid-activation. Any Grixis shell that runs a reanimator subtheme — Marchesa, the Black Rose, Missy, or Ashnod as the commander herself — assembles this naturally.

Prerequisites

You have at least one creature card in your graveyard. You control at least one additional nontoken creature.

Steps

Activate Lightning Greaves' equip ability by paying , attaching it to Whisper.
Activate Whisper by tapping and sacrificing it and another nontoken creature you control, targeting any applicable creature card in your graveyard.
