Adagia, Windswept Bastion spends 3W to create a legendary token copy of Treachery attached to any creature; that token's enters-the-battlefield trigger untaps five lands, refunding the activation cost and then some. Temple of the False God supplies the colorless half of the cost, and the legend rule handles the token cleanup each iteration. The combo lives in Azorius tap-out control shells that already want Treachery as a tempo play — the enchantment pulls double duty.

Recipe

How it works

01

Prerequisites

You control at least five lands. Temple of the False God and up to three other lands you control can collectively tap to produce at least {4}{W}. Adagia has twelve or more charge counters on it.

02

Steps

  1. Activate Temple of the False God and up to three other lands by tapping them, adding at least {4}{W}.
  2. Activate Adagia by paying {3}{W} and tapping it, creating a token copy of Treachery that is legendary attached to any creature.
  3. If you control two legendary Treachery permanents, put one into your graveyard due to the legend rule.
  4. The Treachery token's enter-the-battlefield ability triggers, untapping Adagia, Temple of the False God and up to three other lands.
  5. Repeat.

03

Result

Infinite colorless mana; Infinite mana lands you control can produce; Infinite untap of lands you control

Variations

Cheaper, tighter, alternate lines

Any land base that can produce 4W without Temple of the False God works — Temple is the cleanest enabler but not mandatory. Infinite mana alone doesn't end the game; pair the loop with a large X-spell like Blue Sun's Zenith to draw and mill opponents, or any mana sink already sitting in the Azorius gameplan. The ceiling on Adagia's counter requirement means this is a mid-to-late-game combo rather than an early lock — protect the bastion.
