Wreath of Geists turns a creature-heavy graveyard into a one-mana equipment that can routinely hand out +6/+6 or more — for a single green mana. The catch is total graveyard dependency: in a deck that doesn't fill its bin or care about creatures there, it's a 1/1 buff at best.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |

| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
In Commander, Wreath of Geists is a niche-but-legitimate include in any graveyard-creature deck — one mana for a bonus that routinely hits double digits is absurd efficiency, and the Umbra keyword protects the enchanted creature from dying and resetting the count. Outside Commander, it's legal in Legacy, Vintage, and Modern, but graveyard-based creature strategies in those formats have better tools and tighter curves that don't lean on an aura. Wreath of Geists is fundamentally a Commander card: the longer game and the 99-card graveyard pool are exactly what it needs to be broken.

Price Context
Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Wreath of Geists is deep bulk — you'll find it in a common box or a nickel bin before you'll pay shipping for it alone. It won't appreciate; it's a narrow casual card with limited reprint risk and no eternal-format demand, so buy it for the deck and don't think about it again.
