World Breaker card art
World Breaker enters the battlefield and immediately removes a nonland permanent, artifact, or enchantment — seven mana for a 7/5 reach body plus spot removal is already solid, but the built-in recursion loop means opponents can't ignore it. Ulalek, Fused Atrocity turns every subsequent Eldrazi cast into a chain trigger, and World Breaker's sacrifice-to-recur ability feeds that engine repeatedly.

Commanders with the highest synergy

01
Ulalek, Fused Atrocity

Ulalek, Fused Atrocity

58.3% of decks · synergy 0.55

Ulalek, Fused Atrocity copies triggered abilities whenever you cast an Eldrazi, and World Breaker generates a triggered enters-the-battlefield effect every time it comes down — sac it to a land, recast it, and Ulalek's ability fires again, stacking removal on every loop.

02
Belbe, Corrupted Observer

Belbe, Corrupted Observer

18.1% of decks · synergy 0.18

Belbe, Corrupted Observer generates massive colorless mana bursts whenever opponents take damage, and World Breaker is exactly the kind of seven-drop you're trying to accelerate into — colorless cost means every pip of Belbe mana goes directly toward it.

03
Kruphix, God of Horizons

Kruphix, God of Horizons

15.7% of decks · synergy 0.15

Kruphix, God of Horizons converts unused mana into a colorless reservoir across turns, and World Breaker is one of the cleanest sinks for that banked mana — you ramp slowly, store the overflow, and deploy a recurring threat that answers problem permanents on the way in.

oathbreaker

Commander is where World Breaker earns its keep — the singleton format's prevalence of artifacts, enchantments, and value permanents means the enters trigger almost always hits something relevant, and the recursion loop gives it staying power in long games. In Modern and Pioneer, seven mana is a steep ask against interactive decks, and there are more efficient threats at that slot; World Breaker sees only fringe play there in dedicated Eldrazi ramp shells. Legacy and Vintage have enough fast mana to theoretically deploy it, but those formats want more immediate game-ending impact than a 7/5 with spot removal provides.

Price Context

Current price

$0.28 bulk tier

At $0.28, World Breaker is bulk — a seven-mana mythic Eldrazi at that price point represents genuine overstock relative to demand outside dedicated Eldrazi Commander decks. It holds its floor well enough given recurring casual interest, but don't expect appreciation; pick up copies freely whenever you need them.
