Wispweaver Angel enters, blinks a creature you control, and hands you a repeatable loop if you have the right partner — most infamously Felidar Guardian, which bounces the Angel back to trigger the whole chain again. Six mana is steep, but the ceiling is an infinite enter-the-battlefield engine on a single card pairing.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Wispweaver Angel sees virtually no play in competitive formats — six mana is an eternity in Legacy, Modern, or Pioneer, where the blink-loop payoff is irrelevant before the game ends. Commander is the natural home: the format's slower clock and singleton rule make the Angel a redundant copy of Felidar Guardian for decks that want a second piece to assemble the loop, and ETB-heavy commanders turn even a one-shot blink into real value. Oathbreaker is legal but faces the same speed problem as the 60-card formats.

$0.34 bulk tier
At $0.34, Wispweaver Angel is deep bulk — you're picking it out of a commons box, not tracking it on a buylist. Demand is narrow enough that the price has no real floor to fall through, but it won't spike either; anyone who wants it already owns one.
