Pauper is its most legitimate non-Commander home, where fight spells fill a real removal role in green creature lists. In Commander, Wild Instincts is serviceable in +1/+1 counter decks or stompy builds that want creature-based removal, but it loses ground to cheaper, instant-speed fight spells like Prey Upon or Inscription of Abundance.
