Warlock Class is a Commander card through and through — the incremental life-drain payoff needs a long game and multiple opponents to justify three levels of mana investment. In Legacy, Modern, and Pioneer it's legal but outclassed by faster life-manipulation tools that win before a Class enchantment reaches level three.
