Vegetation Abomination enters and immediately generates a Food token on any die roll of 1 through 5 — free value stapled to a 3/4 body that The Most Dangerous Gamer and Samwise Gamgee both want badly. The cost is five mana, which is real, but the triggered upside means it rarely just sits there.

The Most Dangerous Gamer
The Most Dangerous Gamer hunts Attractions and prizes die-roll effects, so Vegetation Abomination slots directly into the engine — rolling dice to win prizes while simultaneously stockpiling Food tokens that fuel sacrifice synergies or life gain.

Vegetation Abomination is a Commander card through and through — its die-roll trigger and Food generation both scale in value with the longer games and multiplayer card advantage that EDH enables. In Pauper it's technically legal, but five mana for a 3/4 with a conditional triggered ability faces stiff competition on rate, and the Attraction mechanic has minimal support in that format. Legacy and Vintage have no structural reason to run it — the effect is too incremental and the card type too narrow for those formats' demands. Stick to Commander, where the synergy density around Food and dice-rolling actually rewards running it.

$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Vegetation Abomination sits firmly in bulk territory — this is a throw-in card, not a singles purchase. Bulk rares with narrow mechanical niches rarely climb unless a new commander creates a critical mass of demand, so expect it to stay in this range.
