Unbury

In Commander, Unbury is a role-player in reanimator shells that need unconditional, instant-speed graveyard access — it bypasses the mana cost entirely, which matters when you're putting an eight-drop into play on turn four. Competitive formats tell a different story: Modern, Legacy, and Pioneer all have faster, more redundant reanimation packages, and three mana at sorcery speed would already be marginal there, so the instant-speed clause rarely matters enough to justify the slot. Vintage has Reanimate and Entomb doing the same job more efficiently. Unbury is a Commander card through and through, where the singleton format rewards unconditional effects and the slower pace gives three mana the time it needs.
