Uktabi Orangutan card art
Uktabi Orangutan enters the battlefield and immediately destroys an artifact — that's the whole pitch, and in Commander it hits the table running before anyone can respond to a cast trigger. The three-mana 2/2 body is incidental; you're paying for the removal stapled to the front end, and in green that's still a reasonable rate.

Kibo, Uktabi Prince puts Banana tokens into play as artifacts, and Uktabi Orangutan's enter-the-battlefield trigger lines up perfectly with that — crack a Banana for value, then blow up an opponent's artifact on the way in and keep the tribal count climbing.

In Commander, Uktabi Orangutan fills a narrow but real role: green decks that want artifact removal on a creature body, especially in tribal or token shells where the 2/2 actually matters. Legacy and Vintage allow it, but those formats demand much more than a three-mana creature with a situational trigger — it doesn't see meaningful play there. Oathbreaker is the one other format where it can show up, again primarily in green creature-heavy builds that double-dip on the body and the removal.

Pricing data for Uktabi Orangutan isn't available at the moment — check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for current listings. It's a casual-focused creature with a narrow competitive window, so copies tend to stay cheap outside any sudden spike from tribal or artifact-hate demand.
