Trollhide gives a creature +2/+2 and regeneration for three mana as an Aura — the stats are fine, the delivery is not. Auras that don't replace themselves are liabilities in Commander, and Trollhide offers no card advantage to offset the two-for-one risk.
Format Analysis

Trollhide is worst in Commander, where opponents have multiple avenues to answer an enchanted creature and leaving you down a card is punishing at a 100-card, four-player table. In Pauper it sees essentially no play — green has access to better pump and protection at common that doesn't strand you on the battlefield waiting for a response. Constructed formats like Modern and Pioneer have long since moved past three-mana Auras with no upside beyond stats. The regeneration clause has narrow relevance against board wipes that use destroy, but protection spells accomplish the same job without the card disadvantage and without costing three mana.

Price Context
Current price
$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Trollhide sits firmly in bulk territory and will stay there. Demand for underpowered commons without casual appeal or combo relevance doesn't move price upward, so this is a throw-in, not a purchase.
