Trial of Strength puts a 4/2 Rhino token on the battlefield the turn it resolves — real pressure for three mana. The catch is that it bounces back to your hand unless you return a Cartouche from your graveyard to the field, which narrows it to dedicated Amonkhet enchantment synergy builds.

Trial of Strength sees essentially zero play in competitive formats — Legacy and Vintage have far better three-mana options, and the Cartouche dependency makes it a build-around at best. In Modern and Pioneer it's similarly outclassed; the token body is fine but the enchantment tribal scaffolding required to recur it costs too much setup for those formats' pace. Commander is where Trial of Strength finds its most plausible home, specifically in enchantress or Amonkhet-themed builds that already run Cartouches and want incremental token production stapled to a permanent type.
