Temur Runemark grants +2/+2 and trample to a creature you already control, then adds reach if you have a green or blue permanent — solid upside for three mana, but aura vulnerability makes it a liability against any removal-heavy table. It does real work in stompy or Temur-colored decks that want to push damage through, and nowhere else.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Temur Runemark is a Pauper-playable aura in creature-heavy green or Temur shells where trample and reach are worth a card slot, and that's the format where it sees the most legitimate play. In Commander, the two-for-one risk of enchanting your own creature is severe — Swords to Plowshares in response to the cast is a common enough line to make most auras unplayable at competitive tables, and Temur Runemark doesn't close games fast enough to justify that exposure. Pioneer, Modern, and Legacy have strictly better options for pushing damage through, so it doesn't register in those formats. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander — viable only in casual pods where removal density is low.

Price Context
Current price
$0.04 bulk tier
At $0.04, Temur Runemark is deep bulk — you're picking it out of a dollar box, not ordering it individually. The price reflects exactly what it is: a functional but replaceable common that will never climb above bulk territory given the competition at this effect in every format.
