Tazri, Stalwart Survivor generates mana and draws cards just by casting allies, and its activated ability turns surplus mana into exiling opponent's libraries one card at a time — Knacksaw Clique players know that axis well. The catch is that the payoff demands a dense ally tribal base to fire consistently, so it rewards tight deck construction and punishes sloppy curves.

Commander is where Tazri, Stalwart Survivor lives — the 99-card singleton format gives you enough allies to fuel the ability repeatedly, and the longer game means the mill-and-steal axis has time to matter. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but has no competitive home; the five-mana cost and dependency on a tribal shell make it irrelevant against those formats' faster threats. Modern and Pioneer offer ally payoffs but nothing to make a Tazri-centered strategy competitive at those power levels. Stick to Commander.
