Swiftgear Drake enters the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter if you control an artifact, turning a two-mana 1/1 flyer into a 2/2 the moment artifacts are online — which in the decks that want it, is always. The primary home is Grenzo, Dungeon Warden, where the power-equals-zero condition makes Swiftgear Drake a repeatable recursion target as long as no artifact is in play when it hits the bottom of the library.

Swiftgear Drake is legal in Commander, Legacy, Modern, Pioneer, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but the card does almost all of its work in Commander.
