In Commander, Suplex fills a niche as cheap instant-speed removal that scales with the power of your own creatures — the bigger your board, the more threatening targets it can one-shot. In competitive 1v1 formats like Modern and Legacy, it sees almost no play because sorcery-speed equivalents like Prey Upon have already failed to crack those formats, and Suplex doesn't offer enough additional upside to change that calculus.
