Spectral Sliver turns any Sliver into a mana sink, letting you pump a single attacker's power to threatening levels by paying generic mana repeatedly. The cost is real — you need open mana at combat — but in a tribe that generates mana through Slivers like Manaweft Sliver and Gemhide Sliver, that tax largely disappears.

Commander is where Spectral Sliver does its best work, slotting into any five-color Sliver build where the tribe's mana-generation density makes the pump ability effectively free. Legacy Sliver lists exist but lean on speed and disruption rather than combat math, making a slow pump outlet a poor fit competitively. Spectral Sliver is legal in Vintage as well, though no serious Vintage shell wants it. Outside of Commander, treat it as a casual-only card.

Price Context
Current price
$0.31 bulk tier
At $0.31, Spectral Sliver is firmly bulk — pick it up without hesitation if you're building Slivers. Demand is narrow enough that the price is unlikely to move meaningfully in either direction.
