Snubhorn Sentry is a 0/3 that becomes a 3/3 whenever you have the city's blessing — a genuinely sturdy body for one mana once ascend triggers, and pairing it with Welcome to . . . // Jurassic Park unlocks that condition fast in token-heavy builds. The cost is real, though: until you hit ten permanents, it's a vanilla 0/3 that blocks nothing relevant.

In Commander, Snubhorn Sentry is a niche include — ascend is trivially easy to trigger in a multiplayer game, so the 3/3 body is almost always online by turn three, but one-mana 3/3s aren't scarce enough to justify a slot unless you're specifically building around Dinosaurs or ascend payoffs. In Pauper it's more interesting, where cheap, durable blockers matter and ascend can come online in token or go-wide shells. Pioneer, Modern, and Legacy all have access to far more efficient one-drops, so Snubhorn Sentry doesn't compete there outside of highly themed Dinosaur lists.

$0.21 bulk tier
At $0.21, Snubhorn Sentry is pure bulk — you're not paying a premium for anything here. It won't hold or gain value, but it's an essentially free pickup if a Dinosaur or ascend Commander build calls for it.
