Skin Invasion // Skin Shedder gives you a one-mana Aura that hijacks a creature on contact and flips into a 6/4 trampler the moment that creature dies. The ceiling is real, but the setup — attaching to an opponent's creature and waiting for it to die — makes this too slow and situational for most competitive lists.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Skin Invasion // Skin Shedder finds its best home in Gruul or Jund aggro strategies that can force combat and generate creature deaths on demand — think Kaima, the Fractured Calm or Tana, the Bloodsower, where enchanting opponents' creatures is the entire game plan. Outside those niches, the two-step requirement (enchant, wait, transform) is too slow at a table with four opponents who will not cooperate. In Modern and Pioneer the card is legal but almost never played — one-mana threats in those formats need immediate board presence, not a conditional 6/4 two turns later. Legacy and Vintage have the same verdict: too cute, too dependent on opponents, too slow.

Price Context
Current price
$0.14 bulk tier
At $0.14, Skin Invasion // Skin Shedder is deep bulk — you're buying the effect, not the cardboard. That price is stable because demand is narrow and supply is abundant; don't expect movement in either direction.
