Shivan Harvest lets you sacrifice tokens to destroy nonbasic lands, turning a board full of creature tokens into targeted land destruction on demand. The cost is real — you need a token engine running — but in the right deck it's a repeatable nonbasic wipe that few one-mana enchantments can match.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is where Shivan Harvest belongs: nonbasic lands are everywhere, games go long enough to accumulate tokens, and the enchantment's repeatable nature compounds over multiple turns. Krenko, Mob Boss and Rhys the Redeemed shells can fire it every turn cycle, turning incidental tokens into a soft lock on greedy mana bases. Legacy and Vintage have it legal but won't touch it — dedicated land destruction has faster, cleaner options and token engines don't line up with those formats' game plans. Commander is the only serious home.

Price Context
Current price
$0.22 bulk tier
At $0.22, Shivan Harvest is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and postage, not the card. That price is stable; it has a narrow enough application that no spike is coming, but the decks that want it will always be able to pick up a copy without thinking twice.
