Shielded by Faith makes the enchanted creature indestructible and jumps to any new creature entering under your control — that's a persistent protection engine for three mana, not a one-shot spell. It's the backbone of the Siona, Captain of the Pyleas infinite loop, and Killian, Decisive Mentor cuts its cost to one white mana, making it one of the most efficient aura payoffs in the format.

Commanders with the highest synergy

Killian, Decisive Mentor
Killian, Decisive Mentor reduces Shielded by Faith to a single white mana, and the aura's enter-the-battlefield jump trigger turns every new creature into a free protection reassignment — exactly the kind of incremental advantage Killian's spell-matters engine wants to generate every turn.

Bruna, Light of Alabaster
Bruna, Light of Alabaster grabs Shielded by Faith directly from the graveyard or hand when she attacks, turning a three-mana enchantment into a free indestructible shield on your most dangerous swinger.

Eriette, the Beguiler
Eriette, the Beguiler steals and taxes opponents' creatures, and Shielded by Faith keeps her own board alive through the inevitable removal that follows — indestructible on your best threat while Eriette drains the table is a hard combination to answer.

Sigarda, Host of Herons
Sigarda, Host of Herons already can't be sacrificed, and pairing her with Shielded by Faith closes off the remaining removal angle — indestructible plus sacrifice immunity makes her functionally unkillable outside of exile.

Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice
Light-Paws, Emperor's Voice tutors an aura from the library whenever one enters play on her, so casting Shielded by Faith chains directly into another aura — indestructible protection and a free tutor for one card.

Commander is where Shielded by Faith does its real work: the enter-the-battlefield trigger is live every time a new creature hits your board, which in a 100-card singleton game is constant. The combo with Siona, Captain of the Pyleas and any token producer is fully intact in Commander and is the primary reason the card appears in over 100,000 registered decks. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but competes against faster, more consistent protection suites and sees essentially no competitive play. Outside those formats — Modern, Pioneer, Standard, Pauper — it's not legal at all, so Commander and Oathbreaker are the only homes worth building around.

$4.85 cheap tier
At $4.85, Shielded by Faith sits at the high end of the cheap tier but is priced fairly for an enchantment with a genuine infinite-combo application. It's a single-printing card with steady Commander demand, so the floor is well-supported — don't expect it to drop significantly.
