Shared Triumph is a one-mana tribal anthem — you name a creature type on resolution and every creature of that type your opponents control gets +1/+1 too, but in a tribal deck that symmetry rarely matters when you're the one flooding the board. It's the cheapest lord effect in the format and earns its slot in any deck running 20+ creatures of a single type.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | not legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Commander is where Shared Triumph does its best work — tribal strategies are endemic to the format, and a one-mana anthem that comes down on turn one before your commander even hits play is a genuine tempo advantage. The downside of buffing opponents' matching creatures is mostly theoretical; in a four-player game, one opponent running the same tribe is the exception, not the rule. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but ignored — those formats have no room for a +1/+1 anthem that doesn't immediately affect the board state or protect itself. Oathbreaker follows the same logic as Commander: tribal builds exist and Shared Triumph fits, though the smaller deck size makes it a more conditional include.

Price Context
Current price
$3.63 cheap tier
At $3.63, Shared Triumph sits at the high end of budget — expensive for a one-mana enchantment but reasonable given how few one-mana anthems exist in white. The price holds as long as tribal Commander decks remain popular, which is a safe bet.
