Seton's Desire turns any creature into a trampling threat that also cycles through your deck — +2/+2 and trample on three mana, with the option to discard it later for a fresh card. General Marhault Elsdragon is the obvious beneficiary, stacking the rampage trigger on top of trample to punish every block.

General Marhault Elsdragon
General Marhault Elsdragon already grants rampage 2, and Seton's Desire adds trample to make that damage unstoppable — opponents can't chump-block their way out, and every creature they throw in front of him just makes the hit harder.
Format Analysis

In Commander, Seton's Desire occupies a narrow niche: trample-stacking decks that want redundancy beyond equipment and want the cycling safety valve to avoid dead draws in the late game. Pauper is where it has the most legitimate claim — aggressive green decks can use it as a two-in-one threat enabler that replaces itself if the board state shifts. In Legacy and Vintage it's essentially invisible, crowded out by faster and more permanent pump options. The cycling clause is the real reason to run Seton's Desire in any format; without it, three mana for +2/+2 and trample is too fragile to justify.

Price Context
Current price
$0.14 bulk tier
At $0.14, Seton's Desire is deep bulk — the kind of card you pick out of a dollar box without thinking twice. That price is stable by definition; there's no pressure scenario that sends a niche green Aura from 2001 to the buylist.
