In Commander, Sentinel's Eyes earns its slot almost exclusively in aura-storm or Voltron builds where a one-mana aura with escape generates outsized value through trigger chains. In Pauper it's a legitimate option in white aggressive or enchantress shells, where recursive threats at common rarity are genuinely scarce. Modern and Pioneer have no real home for it — the vigilance effect is too marginal and better auras exist for any deck that wants to go that direction. Legacy and Vintage simply have no reason to register it. The format where Sentinel's Eyes is actually good is Commander, and only in the specific commanders that monetize cheap aura casts.
