Seething Anger pumps a creature by +3/+0 until end of turn and, when it resolves, goes back to the bottom of your library instead of the graveyard — meaning you can cast it again next time you cycle through. That recursion is the entire point: in a Vadrik, Astral Archmage shell, each iteration costs less than the last, and in a Zada, Hedron Grinder deck, one cast copies to every creature on the board.

Vadrik, Astral Archmage
Vadrik, Astral Archmage reduces instant and sorcery costs based on his power, and Seething Anger's self-recurring nature means you're casting it over and over in the same turn loop — each cast pumps Vadrik, which makes the next copy cheaper, which lets you storm off further than almost any other red spell at this price point.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Commander is the only format where Seething Anger is genuinely good, and only in the right shells — storm-adjacent decks that want a recurring cheap spell to keep the count climbing. In Vintage and Legacy it's legal but irrelevant; no competitive list wants a +3/+0 bump that goes to the bottom of the library when actual cantrips and rituals exist. Pauper has more interesting commons at common, and Seething Anger doesn't make that cut either. Treat it as a Commander-specific role-player and nothing more.

Current price
$0.25 bulk tier
At $0.25, Seething Anger is deep bulk — you're paying for cardboard and shipping, not the card. The price will stay flat; it sees play in exactly the decks that want it, not broadly enough to appreciate.
