Seeker of Insight trades every noncreature spell you cast into a fresh card, stapling a looting trigger to an otherwise ignorable 1/3 body. The cost is real — you're discarding before you draw, not after — so it rewards decks that want cards in the graveyard as much as cards in hand.

In Commander, Seeker of Insight earns its slot in spellslinger and graveyard-value builds where every instant or sorcery doubles as a filtering step — Kess, Dissident Mage and Narset, Enlightened Exile archetypes love the redundant loot triggers. In Pauper it sees occasional play in blue tempo and control shells that can protect a small body and value the cantrip effect across a longer game. Modern, Pioneer, Legacy, and Vintage all have access to far more efficient card selection, so Seeker of Insight doesn't compete there outside of very specific budget or casual lists.
