In Commander, Screeching Harpy is a fringe inclusion in black life-drain builds — the kind of deck running Extort, Wound Reflection, or Maralen of the Mornsong that wants every upkeep to tick opponents down. The problem is that four opponents means four chances to pay 1B and ignore it, and a 2/2 body dies to nearly every blocker and removal spell in the format. In Legacy and Vintage, where it's technically legal, Screeching Harpy has never seen meaningful play — the power bar is simply too high.
