Scour the Laboratory card art
Scour the Laboratory draws you cards equal to the number of instant and sorcery cards in your graveyard — in the right deck, that's easily five or more cards off a single spell. The seven-mana base cost is steep, but it drops to as little as two or three mana in a spell-heavy graveyard, which is exactly where you want to be when you need to reload.

Scour the Laboratory is a Commander card through and through — the format's longer games give you time to fill a graveyard and make the delve discount feel broken, and a six-or-seven card refill at instant speed can win a game on the spot. In Legacy and Vintage the competition is too stiff: Treasure Cruise and Dig Through Time do more for less in the same shell, and neither format rewards paying seven mana for a conditional draw. Modern and Pioneer have the same problem, plus the graveyard hate runs deeper and more consistently. Stick to Commander, and specifically to spell-heavy or graveyard-synergy builds where the discount is reliable by turn five or six.

Price data isn't available for Scour the Laboratory right now, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for current copies. Given how narrowly it plays — strong in Commander spell decks, nearly irrelevant elsewhere — expect it to stay budget-friendly unless a breakout commander pulls it into the spotlight.
