In Commander, Sandskin is outclassed by the sheer volume of efficient enchantment removal in the format — one Krosan Grip and your investment evaporates, leaving the threat intact. Pauper is the most charitable home, where the card pool is shallow enough that a taxing aura occasionally pulls weight in white-based control shells. Legacy and Vintage are legal but entirely uninterested; Sandskin does nothing at the speed those formats operate. Across every format it's legal in, the problem is the same: you spent mana to delay a creature rather than answer it.
