Rumbling Crescendo card art
Rumbling Crescendo puts a land-destruction clock on the board that opponents can't ignore — each upkeep, another land gets flagged for destruction at end of turn unless they sacrifice it first. The catch is that it costs five mana and three full turns to fire, which is a steep ask in any format where speed matters.

Rumbling Crescendo is a Commander card through and through — the three-turn wind-up is a death sentence in Legacy or Vintage, where the game is often decided before the first counter resolves. In Commander, the political dimension rescues it: opponents will start negotiating, saccing fetch lands or disposable basics to avoid losing something essential, which creates real table dynamics around a five-mana enchantment. It's legal in Oathbreaker as well, but the smaller player count and faster games make the slow payoff harder to justify there. Stick to Commander if you're running it at all.

Price Context

Current price

$0.73 bulk tier

At $0.73, Rumbling Crescendo is firmly bulk — you're not paying a premium for it, and it's unlikely to appreciate given its narrow application. It holds value as a cheap political tool in land-disruption builds, but don't expect the price to move.
