Commander is where Rebound earns its keep, particularly in spell-slinger and storm-adjacent builds that want to multiply high-impact instants and sorceries — a free second Demonic Tutor or Cyclonic Rift is a meaningful tempo swing. Legacy and Vintage allow it, but both formats move too fast for a three-mana enchantment that generates no immediate board presence to see serious play. Oathbreaker is a reasonable home given the format's emphasis on powerful signature spells, where Rebound on the right spell can win the game outright.
