Rakdos Riteknife wins games on the spot in the right shell — stack enough soul counters and its sacrifice-based drain becomes a one-shot finisher that bypasses combat entirely. The cost is real though: two mana to equip plus a dedicated sacrifice engine to fuel it means Rakdos Riteknife does nothing in a vacuum, and outside of decks that already pair well with something like Vizier of Remedies to manipulate counters, it's a build-around that punishes half-measures.

Rakdos Riteknife is a Commander card through and through — the multiplayer environment gives the drain ability real reach, and 100-card singleton gives the build-around investment enough room to pay off.
