Radha, Heart of Keld card art
Radha, Heart of Keld lets you play lands off the top of your library and swings as a 3/3 haste for two mana — that's a lot of card on a cheap body. The cost is that she does nothing without lands in play or on top, making her dead weight if you're already flooded or land-screwed at the wrong moment; Agatha of the Vile Cauldron sidesteps that fragility entirely by exiling her activated abilities onto something more durable.

Agatha of the Vile Cauldron

Agatha of the Vile Cauldron

40.7% of decks · synergy 0.38

Agatha of the Vile Cauldron exiles Radha, Heart of Keld from the graveyard to copy both her mana-from-lands ability and her land-on-top play effect onto any creature with a +1/+1 counter — turning a dead Radha into a permanent engine spread across the board.

02
Phylath, World Sculptor

Phylath, World Sculptor

15.7% of decks · synergy 0.13

Phylath, World Sculptor cares deeply about basic land counts and playing lands every turn, so Radha, Heart of Keld's ability to play lands off the top keeps the plant token engine fed without spending cards from hand.

03
Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire

Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire

9.3% of decks · synergy 0.09

Vaevictis Asmadi, the Dire wants the top of its library to be a permanent worth flipping into, and Radha, Heart of Keld's top-of-library land play clears the way so Vaevictis's attack trigger is more likely to hit something impactful.

oathbreaker

In Commander, Radha, Heart of Keld earns her slot as a two-mana haste attacker that doubles as a land engine in Gruul landfall or counters-matter builds — the synergy density in those archetypes is high enough that she's a genuine role-player rather than filler. In competitive 60-card formats like Modern and Pioneer, she struggles to justify the slot: two mana for a 3/3 haste is fine but not outstanding, and the land-play ability is too conditional to build around when faster threats exist. Legacy and Vintage give her even less room — the power ceiling is simply too high for what Radha, Heart of Keld offers. Oathbreaker is the one non-Commander format where she occasionally shows up as a signature spell target, but the Commander format remains her best home by a wide margin.

Price Context

Current price

$0.82 bulk tier

At $0.82, Radha, Heart of Keld sits firmly in bulk rare territory, which is about right for a card with real but narrow applications. She's unlikely to spike without a new commander that specifically enables or abuses her ability combination, so picking her up now for any Gruul landfall or Agatha of the Vile Cauldron list is painless.
