Puppet Master is a three-mana blue Aura that returns an enchanted creature to your hand when it dies — and crucially, it returns itself to your hand with it, so the recursion loop is self-sustaining. The cost is real: you need a creature to hit the graveyard each cycle, and three mana to replay the Aura is steep enough that the engine stalls without reliable sac outlets.

Puppet Master is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, and Oathbreaker, and sees virtually no competitive play in any of them. In Commander it fits narrow reanimator or sacrifice-value shells — commanders that want to bounce high-ETB creatures repeatedly get the most mileage, but three mana per recurrence cycle is slow at a four-player table. Legacy and Vintage have access to far more efficient recursion engines, so Puppet Master doesn't register in those formats. Oathbreaker is the one place the loop could shine if your signature spell generates mana or advantage on cast, but even there it requires a dedicated shell to function.

Pricing data for Puppet Master isn't currently available, so check Scryfall or TCGPlayer for a live number. Given its narrow application and low demand across all legal formats, expect a bargain-bin price — this is a pickup-while-you're-already-ordering card, not a destination purchase.
