Prismatic Ward

In Commander, Prismatic Ward is a niche include — the table runs four opponents across a rainbow of colors, so naming one color protects against only a fraction of incoming threats, and enchantment-based protection evaporates the moment anyone wipes the board. Pauper is the format where Prismatic Ward is most at home, slotting into Heroic and Aura-based white aggro shells where triggering an ability twice for two mana while also shrinking your opponent's combat options is genuine tempo. Legacy and Vintage have access to it but will never run it — the competition at two mana is simply too deep. Oathbreaker, like Commander, offers fringe play in Aura-centric strategies, but the same vulnerability to mass removal applies.
