Prismabasher enters with a ward counter on each creature you control, then swings as a 4/3 trampler — that's a board-wide protection layer stapled to a threat. Mass of Mysteries does something similar for less mana, which is the honest benchmark Prismabasher has to clear, and at five mana it doesn't always clear it.

In Commander, Prismabasher's ward distribution is at its best when you're running a wide creature strategy — the more bodies on board when it enters, the more tax effects you're spreading across opponents' removal.
