Predator's Strike puts +3/+3 and trample on any creature until end of turn — a combat trick that can convert a blocked attacker into a game-ending threat or save a creature in a bad fight. One green mana is the right price for that much immediate leverage, and it's a clean, no-setup-required include in creature-based green strategies.

In Commander, Predator's Strike earns a fringe slot in aggressive green builds that need cheap, instant-speed ways to close out a player or force through damage past blockers — the +3/+3 is meaningful but the card competes hard against Berserk, Temur Battle Rage, and Might of Oaks in that role. In Pauper it sees occasional play in green stompy and infect lists, where trample plus a large pump at one mana can end games on the spot with a Glistener Elf or Ichorclaw Myr in play. Legacy and Vintage are theoretically legal formats but Predator's Strike has no competitive presence there — the formats move too fast and the card slots are too precious. For a common at its price point, it does exactly what's advertised wherever combat damage is the plan.

$0.07 bulk tier
At $0.07, Predator's Strike is deep bulk — a throw-in card that costs nothing to acquire and nothing to cut if something better opens up. It won't appreciate, but for a combat trick that fills a functional role in budget green decks, the price-to-effect ratio is unimpeachable.
