Parapet
Enchantment
You may cast this spell as though it had flash. If you cast it any time a sorcery couldn't have been cast, the controller of the permanent it becomes sacrifices it at the beginning of the next cleanup step.

Parapet gives all your creatures +0/+2 until end of turn for two mana — a defensive pump that trades poorly with any proactive strategy. It's a one-shot fog variant with no lasting board presence, and that makes it a cut in virtually every Commander list.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | not legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Parapet is legal in Commander, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, and Oathbreaker, but seeing meaningful play in none of them. In Commander, spending two mana to temporarily buff toughness accomplishes nothing against the format's combo finishers, evasion, or direct damage — you survive one combat and fall behind on card equity. Pauper is the only format where a defensive trick at common could theoretically matter, but even there Parapet competes against actual lifegain and removal at the same cost. The card is a bulk common for a reason.

Price Context
Current price
$0.10 bulk tier
Parapet sits at $0.10 — firmly bulk, with no competitive demand pulling it up. At that price it holds its floor simply because nothing drives it lower, not because anyone is seeking it out.
