Overgrown Pest
Creature — Pest
When this creature enters, look at the top five cards of your library. You may reveal a land or double-faced card from among them and put that card into your hand. Put the rest on the bottom of your library in a random order.

Overgrown Pest enters with a landfall-style payoff baked in — whenever a land enters under your control, you get a 1/1 Insect token, turning every fetch, ramp spell, and extra-land drop into a free body. The cost is a five-mana 3/3, which is a lot to ask in formats where efficiency is currency.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

Overgrown Pest is a Commander card through and through — the format's longer games and abundance of ramp spells give its triggered ability enough repetitions to matter. In decks built around Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait or Yarok, the Desecrated, where multiple land drops per turn are routine, it can generate three or four tokens in a single round. Outside Commander, it doesn't make the cut: Pauper has more efficient token producers, and Modern and Pioneer have no interest in a five-mana 3/3 that does nothing the turn it arrives. Stick to 100-card singleton if you're running Overgrown Pest.

$0.06 bulk tier
At $0.06, Overgrown Pest is deep bulk — the kind of card you pull from a box rather than order. Price stability is a non-issue; it will stay at this floor unless a Commander product or competitive breakout pushes demand, and neither looks likely.
