Odric, Blood-Cursed
Legendary Creature — Vampire Soldier
When Odric enters, create X Blood tokens, where X is the number of abilities from among flying, first strike, double strike, deathtouch, haste, hexproof, indestructible, lifelink, menace, reach, trample, and vigilance found among creatures you control. (Count each ability only once.)

Odric, Blood-Cursed enters and immediately generates Blood tokens equal to the number of relevant keyword abilities among your creatures — that's a draw-and-discard engine stapled to a three-mana body. The ceiling is real: pair him with Krark-Clan Ironworks and a keyword-stacked board and you're converting those Blood tokens into mana before the turn ends.

Commander is where Odric, Blood-Cursed actually gets to stretch — token synergies, keyword soup strategies, and aristocrats shells all want the Blood tokens he produces, and the three-mana cost means he lands before the game has stabilized. In competitive non-rotating formats like Legacy and Vintage he has no path to a maindeck slot; the effect is too slow and too reliant on a creature-heavy board state that those formats don't provide. Modern and Pioneer are similarly hostile — he's a fragile three-drop whose payoff requires setup, and both formats can answer him before the trigger does meaningful work. Stick to Commander unless you're building a very specific casual kitchen-table deck in one of the 60-card formats.

Current price
$0.35 bulk tier
At $0.35, Odric, Blood-Cursed is firmly bulk — easy to pick up as a throw-in or from a bargain bin. That price is likely stable; he's a niche Commander card with a narrow audience, so don't expect meaningful movement in either direction.
