In Commander, Nature's Chant earns its slot by covering both artifact and enchantment removal on a single card, which matters when you're building toward 99 and need to consolidate roles. Pauper is where it sees the most competitive relevance, since the hybrid cost is genuinely useful in multicolor commons shells and both artifact and enchantment threats are common enough to warrant flexible answers. In Legacy and Vintage it's strictly outclassed — Disenchant costs less, and dedicated hate like Null Rod or Tranquil Domain does the job better in those formats. Modern has moved past three-mana removal in most contexts, so Nature's Chant sits on the fringe there. For Commander specifically, it's a dependable budget inclusion but gets cut once you're running Generous Gift or Krosan Grip.
