Nantuko Disciple turns every creature you control into a temporary giant — pay four mana at instant speed and your whole board gets +2/+2 until end of turn, which is usually lethal math when anyone attacks in. The cost is the problem: four mana for an effect that doesn't stick is a steep ask in formats where that mana buys permanents.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

In Commander, Nantuko Disciple occupies the fringe of green go-wide strategies — Craterhoof Behemoth does the same job better and as a permanent threat, so Nantuko Disciple is usually the card you run when you've already included Behemoth and want a second closer. In Pauper, the common restriction makes it more relevant; green stompy and token builds can actually use the instant-speed pump to steal races or survive a block. Legacy and Vintage are non-starters — the effect is too low-impact for formats that end the game faster than four mana comes online.

$0.11 bulk tier
At $0.11, Nantuko Disciple is deep bulk — you're not paying for power, you're paying for cardboard. It holds no financial value, but for a casual Commander slot it costs less than a sleeve, which is the only context where running it makes sense.
