Myr Landshaper turns any land into an artifact — a narrow ability that becomes a genuine engine piece in the right shell. Outside of Memnarch builds that specifically want targets for steal effects, it rarely earns its slot.

Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t
| Format | Verdict |
|---|---|
| commander | legal |
| legacy | legal |
| modern | legal |
| pioneer | not legal |
| standard | not legal |
| vintage | legal |
| pauper | legal |
| oathbreaker | legal |
Myr Landshaper sees almost no play outside Commander, and even there it's a role-player in a single archetype rather than a broadly useful card. In Legacy and Vintage it's too slow and too conditional to compete for artifact slots. Pauper is legal but the effect has no real home in that format's established strategies. Commander is where Myr Landshaper lives, and specifically in Memnarch decks — outside of that commander, the land-to-artifact conversion rarely matters enough to justify the two mana and the deck slot.

Price Context
Current price
$1.08 cheap tier
At $1.08, Myr Landshaper sits at a price that accurately reflects its narrow demand — it's cheap because almost no one needs more than one copy, and only Memnarch players need one at all. Don't expect movement in either direction; this is a stable bulk-rare price for a card with a permanent niche audience.
