Monoskelion enters with a +1/+1 counter and can redistribute it as a point of damage — useful on its own, engine-level with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed, who lets it die and return to repeat the loop infinitely. It's a combo piece first and a standalone card a distant second.
Format Analysis
Where it lives, where it can’t

| pioneer | not legal |

| oathbreaker | legal |
Monoskelion is a Commander card — the infinite loop with Mikaeus, the Unhallowed requires a multiplayer setting where the payoff justifies the setup, and the singleton format makes the pieces easier to tutor together. In Legacy and Vintage it's legal but has never seen play; three mana for a 1/1 that pings once is nowhere near competitive in those formats. Oathbreaker is the one other format where the Mikaeus line might surface, but the 20-life total compresses the game enough that faster wins dominate.

Current price
$0.09 bulk tier
At $0.09, Monoskelion is pure bulk — you're picking it up in a trade binder or as a throw-in, not paying retail. The price is stable at the floor; it won't rise unless a new undying commander pushes the combo into mainstream popularity.
