Commander is where Mob Mentality actually lives — token strategies regularly assemble ten or more creatures by the mid-game, and the combination of trample and haste on an untargetable attacker can end a player from nowhere. In Legacy and Vintage it's technically legal but competes against formats that don't slow down enough for a go-wide gameplan to matter, so it sees no meaningful play there.
