Mercenary Informer permanently removes any non-white Mercenary from the game the moment it enters — no spell to counter, no save with a regeneration ability, just exile on a body. The cost is that this effect only matters when your opponent is running a Mercenary tribal package, which makes Mercenary Informer a narrow hoser that earns a slot in exactly one context and zero others.
